Domaine de Laballe Armagnac

On our wine list, a new feature page has joined the ranks. We're elated that a new allocation of exceptional French brandy from Domaine de Laballe is here.

The house was started in 1820 by Jean Dominique Laudet in the Bas Armagnac region of France. Once a spice trader, his dream was to retire to the country to produce France's oldest spirit — stocks from Domaine de Laballe are aged to 1888. Now in its 8th generation, Cyril and his wife Julie are honouring centuries of experience and tradition with the ambition to bring Armagnac into the future.

We have 8 vintages of Laballe Bas Armagnac, ranging from 1970 to 2004, as well as Cyril's iconic Laballe Bas Armagnac Resistance Baco. Every bottle is from the family's vineyards, artisanally distilled and carefully matured in centuries-old cellars. They all have their own character and we're poised to share the subtle and sincere nuances that define each bottle.

This allocation will only be available to taste for a limited time. As Robert Frost once wrote,
"Nothing Gold Can Stay."
