Mother’s Day Dining

This Mother’s Day we raised a toast in celebration of family. Through the day, we offered our our Seasonal Mother’s Day Menu, delighting in some of autumn’s most exceptional produce. Served in a ‘prix-fixe’ style, guests chose their own dish for each course.

APPETISER

Crab toast, winter truffle

Gnocco fritto, bresaola and parmesan


ENTRÉE

Raw tuna and sea bream, smoked crème fraîche

Mozzarella di bufala, persimmon, pistachio and tardivo

Pasta trottole, Spencer Gulf prawn, fennel, tarragon and lemon


MAIN COURSE

Wood-grilled rock flathead, Champagne and scallop velouté

Pine mushroom tart, comté, shallot and hazelnut

Gippsland strip steak, bone marrow and flowering broccoli


Kipfler potatoes, smoked paprika and pecorino

Cavendish House salad


DESSERT

Gelato – Pear and brown butter

Almond milk and Meyer lemon gelato, caramelised brioche

Chocolate mille-feuille, blackberry and butterscotch
